Granny Mouse Country House & Spa has once again been invited to partake in the Liberty Midlands Mall #LoveLocal Festival, and will be represented by Culinary Artist Theo Mannie
Hosted from 30 August to 1 September at Liberty Midlands Mall, the #LoveLocal Festival is a celebration of the rich culture and heritage that the Pietermaritzburg and Midlands area have to offer.
Now in its 4th year, one element of the festival, the Chef’s Theatre, located in the Wimpy Court, sees a host of top local chefs from the area each paired with a celebrity, to showcase their culinary prowess.
Adding to the fun and excitement this year, Mannie will be participating in a Mystery basket cook-off against Chef Lorenzo Giliomee from Fordoun Hotel & Spa. Local celebrities, East Coast Radio’s Drive Time duo Bongani Mtolo and Mags Westerhof will be taking sides, assisting their chefs in the hope of taking home the top honours.
