Granny Mouse Country House & Spa has recently appointed a new Spa Manager, Liza Williams, who joins the team under the auspices of Camelot Spa.
A borne and bred Capetonian, Williams brings a wealth of Spa knowledge to the team, having been in the Spa industry for over 14 years, training at the Tygerberg College Health and Skincare Academy, and going on to secure an international Diploma in Health and Skincare Therapy through the International Therapy Examination Council (ITEC) in the United Kingdom.
When asked why she chose this field and why she decided to join the Granny Mouse Country House & Spa team, she commented that, “I love being part of an industry where I can help people through the educational aspects of therapy, whether this is teaching a guest about the best skincare range for them or assisting my colleagues in the best practices.” She goes on to say that, “the position at Granny Mouse Country House & Spa was an amazing opportunity for me, as I love interacting with different guests and being in an environment where each individual is treated like royalty. It is also great to work with a team which offers on-going support and guidance.”
Recently under management by Camelot Spa, Liza expresses that the one element she loves about the Granny Mouse Country House & Spa menu is their pick ‘n mix option, where guests can mix and match the exact treatments they would like, thereby creating their own unique package, and this to her is what makes Granny Mouse Country House & Spa’s treatment experience that much more personal.
Sean Granger, General Manager of Granny Mouse Country House & Spa is thrilled to have Liza on the team. According to Granger, “Liza has brought an entirely new element to our Spa offering having worked on a number of celebrities whilst gaining international experience and comprehensively understands our customer service ethos.”
When Williams is not at work, she can be found spending valuable time with her new husband, with whom she exchanged wedding vows on Valentine’s Day this year!
